Sopé Williams-Elegbe
Senior Associate
Sopé is a Senior Associate at Principia. She also serves as Professor and the head of the department of Mercantile Law at Stellenbosch University, South Africa.
Sopé is a Vice-Chair of the anti-corruption sub-committee of the International Bar Association and a member of Transparency International’s Working Group on Debarment and Exclusion. She advises international institutions and government bodies, and trains the public and the private sector in ethics and anti-corruption law.
She holds an LLB from the University of Lagos, an LLM from LSE, and a PhD from the University of Nottingham.
